Senior Pastor J. David Knecht
Pastor J. David Knecht arrived at Holy Cross in May of 2008 after serving parishes in North Jersey for the past twelve years. His arrival brings to the Holy Cross family an answer to many prayers. Pastor Knecht’s ministry has been characterized by challenging congregations to reach out to witness Jesus to new people and to deepen their own discipleship relationship with their Lord and Savior. His personal faith goal is to "work hard to model discipleship of Jesus as best as I am able through my prayer life and scripture study." He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry program in the area of Missions, and holds a MDiv from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia; he also has a BA in Economics from Lenoir Rhyne College of Hickory, North Carolina. While serving as a missionary and pastor in Taiwan, he met his wife Yu-Mei, and they now have a young son and daughter. Pastor's other interests include long distance running, good books, model trains, and he is fluent in German and speaks conversational Mandarin.

Music Ministries Director Chris Purner
Chris Purner, our Music Ministries Director, joined the staff in the Fall of 2005. Chris has ministered through music since 1995. Some of these opportunities include SpiritFest, Autumn Blaze, Crossfire Ministries, and LCMS National Convention. He and his wife Audra are members of Holy Cross. Chris is a sincere and passionate worshiper with a heart to lead God's people.

Nursery School Director Lynn Zahn
Lynn Zahn directs our Nursery School and Kindergarten. This program is state licensed and operates in our recently refurbished education center, which is adjacent to the church. Lynn leads an experienced and gifted staff of teachers and aides who are committed to providing an outstanding education to each and every child in the program.

Office Administrator Lisa Koellmann
Mrs Koellmann has a background in computer technology, teaching and administration. She has lived in Germany for many years and speaks fluent German.
Church Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
